Cleavelandite Healing Energies an MineralogyCleavelandite facilitates a feeling of joy and contentment. It promotes planning and putting plans into action. It encourages starting new journey and provides for safe passage on all levels. Cleavelandite aids the building and sustaining of relationships.

Cleavelandite has the chemistry NaAlSi3 O8, Sodium Aluminum Silicate and belongs to the mineral class Silicates, subclass Tectosilicates, Feldspar group. It is a variety of Albite, a common Feldspar, which is an end member of both the Plagioclase series and the K-Feldspars series. It is named after Parker Cleaveland, a professor of geology and mineralogy at Bowdoin College in Maine during the early 1800s. The name Feldspar is derived from the German word feld meaning field.
Albite crystallises late from molten rock and because of this, it isolates rarer elements in the final stages of crystallisation, producing rare minerals. This is why often it is found with rare and attractive minerals. The variety Cleavelandite is associated with Tourmaline. It forms thin, platy, bladed, white to transparent crystals, some with striated, parallel lines on the crystal surface or cleavage face. Albite crystals are translucent to opaque with rarely transparent, the lustre is vitreous to dull and the crystal system is triclinic. Typically, Albite crystals have a nearly rectangular or square cross-section with slightly slanted dome and pinacoid terminations. The variety Cleavelandite forms thin platy crystals that can grow large, however the thickness is only ever a millimetres. Other habits include blocky, tabular and platy crystals, which may be twinned. The colour of Albite is usually white, but may be colourless, grey or have hints of blue, yellow, orange and brown. The word Albite is derived from the Latin albums after its common colour of white.
All the Plagioclase Feldspars show a type of twinning that is named after Albite. The Albite Twinning Law displays stacks of twin layers. These twinned layers can be seen as striation like grooves on the surface of the crystal and unlike true striations, these also appear on the cleavage surfaces. Minerals associated with Albite include Quartz, Tourmaline and Muscovite. Notable occurrences include Labrador, Canada and the Scandinavian Peninsula.
Heat Treated Citrine Healing EnergiesHeat-treated Citrine aids those who seek a new purpose and direction. If left under the pillow at night gives pleasant or insightful dreams. It protects from radiation and absorbs negative energy. Citrine helps reduce anxieties, depression and stomach tension. It attracts abundance in any form that is most needed. It renews and cleanses the skin and is beneficial for diabetes and circulatory disorders.

Natural Citrine Healing EnergiesNatural Citrine cleanses and protects by transmuting negative energy from the Self, others and the environment. It protects from negative energies including feelings of anxiety, insecurity and depression and promotes feelings of joy, hope, confidence and enthusiasm alongside a positive mental attitude. It balances the subtle and physical bodies and clears the aura. Citrine draws in abundance in any form that is appropriate to the person or situation. It benefits the pancreas, liver, gall bladder, and spleen, and is particularly helpful for those with M.E.

Citrine Mineralogy Citrine has the chemical formula SiO2 Silicon dioxide, is a member of the mineral class Silicates, subclass Tectosilicates, Quartz group. It is a yellow-orange member of the Quartz family. Much of the natural Citrine may have started out as Amethyst, however heat from nearby magmatic bodies may have caused the change to Citrine. Sometimes this forms a part Citrine and part Amethyst mix, which is known as Ametrine.
Some Citrine has been heat-treated, that is artificially turned into Citrine, usually from Amethyst. These are easily recognisable as their colour is bright yellow-orange rather than the honey-yellow of natural Citrine.
Cobalt (Erythrite) Healing EnergiesCobalt (Erythrite) promotes a sense of inner harmony that ripples into the environment. It enhances all kinds of creativity. Cobalt benefits the heart both physically and emotionally. It helps against cell dis-orders and aids healing in general.

Copper Healing Energies Copper connects the physical body with that of the auric and aligns the subtle bodies. It facilitates accepting all aspects of the Self by removing constraints and restrictions that have got in the way. It promotes initiative, optimism, enthusiasm, energy and independence. Copper amplifies the energies of thought and intention and magnifies the energy transfer of healer or crystal to the recipient. It balances blood flow, cleanses wounds and eliminates infections. It helps those with arthritis, bursitis and rheumatism.

Blue Coral Healing Energies Blue Coral (Sea Bamboo) aids communication with the elemental world. It enhances intuition. It brings to the surface issues that have been hidden, so is suitable for those ready to deal with these. Blue Coral is helpful for day to day communication and for throat conditions. It is beneficial for bones, stimulates tissue regeneration and nourishes the blood cells. Particularly, it helps those with dis-ease of the digestive system, including IBS.

Red Coral Healing EnergiesRed Coral (Sea Bamboo) promotes harmony of the self with the universe and nature. It protects from depression and despondency. It helps in cases of hiccups, colic and heartburn. Red Coral reduces symptoms of dis-ease of the kidneys, bladder and parathyroid and also stimulates the metabolism.

Cordierite Healing Energies and Mineralogy Cordierite aids spiritual development, notably in activating the brow chakra, enhancing psychic abilities and assisting astral travel, especially for those beginning their journey. It enhances knowledge of ancient wisdom coupled with inner knowing. It aligns and balances the subtle bodies. Cordierite aids understanding and releasing addictive behaviour and is particularly helpful in managing finances. It helps to acknowledge and express individual strength. It aids the function of the liver and kidneys and alleviates headaches and fevers.

Cordierite has the chemistry of Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, and is in the class Silicates, sub-class Cyclosilicates. Cordierite is probably not as well known as its gemstone variety, Iolite. It has an unusual, attractive blue-violet colour and has been compared to Sapphire, from which it gets the name water sapphire.
Cordierite has one of the strongest pleochroism, (colour changing ability) of all crystals. When viewed from one direction the crystal may appear blue or blue-violet, however as the crystal is rotated the colour will appear yellowish grey to light blue.
Sometimes Cordierite is referred to by the name Dichroite, because of this phenomenon. Cordierite takes its name from the French geologist Pierre Louis Antoine Cordier who was the first to describe the mineral.
Cornetite Healing Energies and Mineralogy Cornetite facilitates a deep understanding of the full meaning of love, including both giving and receiving unconditionally. It aids the resolution of grievances and so is beneficial for relationships. It promotes inventive thinking and fair decision-making. Cornetite enables the externalisation of creative expression.

Cornetite has the chemistry Cu3PO4(OH)3 , Copper Phosphate Hydroxide and is a member of the mineral class Phosphates. It is a rare secondary copper mineral found in highly weathered, oxidation zones of copper sulphide ore bodies. There are three major locations fro this mineral Shaba, Congo, Bwana Mkubwa, Zambia and Empire Nevada Mine, Yerington, Nevada.
Crystal habits include short, rounded, nearly diamond-shaped prisms that are terminated by a dome with trapezohedral faces, also as tiny crystalline druses, fibrous masses and crusts. The mineral colour is deep dark blue, green-blue and green and the lustre is vitreous. Specimens tend to crumble easily. Associated minerals include Limonite, Libethenite, Malachite, Brochantite and other secondary copper ore minerals.
Covellite Healing Energies and Mineralogy Covellite enhances intuitive and psychic abilities.
